1. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF RISKS
I acknowledge that the activity (mountain biking) I intend to practice at Mont Apic takes place in semi-natural or natural environments that may be uneven and rugged in certain areas, and therefore are more remote from medical services. In case of need, there may be delays in emergency response requiring evacuation (rescue), and consequently a possible worsening of the injured person’s condition, potentially leading to death. These risks include, but are not limited to, those described below. I accept the nature of these risks as an integral part of the activity, as well as the consequences that may result.
Typical risks inherent to the activity:
• Sloped and uneven terrain with obstacles that may be hidden or not apparent, where a person may get lost or find themselves in a dangerous situation;
• Weather conditions that may change rapidly without warning;
• Behaviors, including negligent ones, from other users;
• Wildlife;
• Injuries caused by impact or falls against objects or blunt obstacles (branches, rocks, equipment, etc.);
• Injuries caused by movement (sprains, strains, fractures, etc.);
• Injuries resulting from accidental or non-accidental contact with another individual;
• Hypothermia and heat-related issues;
2. AUTHORIZATION TO ADMINISTER FIRST AID
In the event of injury, incident, accident, or if I become unconscious, I authorize responsible personnel to provide necessary emergency care and take appropriate measures for my evacuation. All costs related to first aid and evacuation outside of the center’s operating hours will be at my expense. I authorize first aid personnel to decide, in the event of an accident, to transport me (by ambulance or otherwise) to a hospital, at my own expense if applicable. I authorize the person providing first aid to administer any necessary medication.
3. PARTICIPANT COMMITMENTS

I understand that failure to comply may result in my expulsion without notice and without refund;
